Sparkly lip glosses

Sparkly lip glosses
Top to bottom: MUFE D18, Illamasqua Opulent, Revlon Crystal Water, MAC Rags to Riches and Funtabulous, OCC Dune

In general I hate glittery, sparkly, girlie things; I always think they're tacky.  But when it comes to make up I'm a total magpie.  Give me more!  I love glitter; glittery lips, glittery eye shadows, highlighter and plain ole' glitter.  Just see my face today here for more proof.

I thought I'd show you my favourite sparkly lip glosses as they are definitely one of the easiest, and least messy, ways to incorporate glitter into your look.
Some of these are more wearable than others.  Dune and Crystal Water could be worn over just about anything or on their own while the other 4 are definitely opaque enough to be high impact just worn on their own.  See below for a closer look at each gloss.

Make Up For Ever Lab Shine Diamond Collection in D18 (£8.25 50% off here) is a brilliant goldy copper gloss.  The base itself is clear and just packed full of the glitter.  The glitter is very fine, you can't feel the texture on your lips.  I particularly love this over a deep red/burgundy lip liner or lipstick.  It smells quite citrussy.

Illamasqua Sheer Lipgloss in Opulent (£16.50) is so stunning and really unique, one of my most-worn glosses.  They describe it as rainbow beige.  It's really difficult to accurately describe.  There's so much glitter you can't tell the base colour.  The glitter is pink and green with possibly some cool gold.  I originally bought this to wear at a wedding over a nude lip liner and it's still my favourite way to wear it.  Smells and tastes amazing, can't feel the glitter.

Revlon Colorburst lip gloss in Crystal Water (£3.15 on Amazon) is a clear gloss with pink and blue glitter.  It has the least amount of glitter in it so is fairly subtle but still pretty.  It doesn't have a scent to it.

MAC Dazzleglass in Rags to Riches (£17.50) has a pink base with teal and pink glitter.  The Dazzleglass formula is very thick and sticky, so some won't like it, but it means it really lasts.  They smell amazing as well.

MAC Dazzleglass in Funtabulous (£17.50) is a pinky purple with violet glitter.  You can't feel the glitter and once the gloss has faded away the glitter stays put.  This one is spectacular over a fuchsia or purple matte lipstick.  Another absolute favourite, almost wish I could wear it everyday.

OCC Stained Gloss in Dune (£12) is a bit of a cheat entry as it's not really glittery but looks more pearlescent on.  It's a creamy beige gloss with gold shimmer.  Definitely the lightest feeling gloss of the bunch. I love to wear it over anything, it can really bring a new dimension to a neutral look!  If you want to reapply throughout the day you need to have a lip brush with you.

Are you a glitter maniac like me?  Or could you be persuaded to the dark (very sparkly) side?
Any amazing glitter glosses I've forgotten about?
